Industrial Electricians - Robotics & Automation | Silverwater NSW We’re seeking skilled and motivated Industrial Electricians at both junior and senior levels to join a dynamic engineering team focused on robotics and automation. These roles are ideal for individuals passionate about working on cutting-edge automation systems and eager to contribute to innovative projects across diverse industries. You’ll be part of a workshop-based team with occasional on-site work for installations and commissioning. Whether you’re starting your electrical career or ready to take on a leadership role, we have multiple opportunities available with mentoring, career growth, and the chance to work on exciting automation projects. What You’ll Be Doing Wiring and assembling electrical control cabinets and automation systems. Installing sensors, pneumatic valves, VSDs, servo drives, and industrial robot controllers. Overseeing field wiring, testing, and commissioning of automation projects. Reading and interpreting electrical schematics. Troubleshooting and fault finding on PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and sensors. Managing preventative and breakdown maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems. Promoting and maintaining safe work practices on all sites. What We’re Looking For Junior Level Electrical apprenticeship (in progress or recently completed). Completed Year 12 HSC with an interest in automation and robotics. Ability to read and work from technical drawings. White Card and NSW Driver’s Licence required. Forklift licence, Certificate IV in Industrial Automation, or exposure to robotics/PLCs. (Highly regarded) Enthusiasm, reliability, and a strong willingness to learn. Senior Level Unrestricted Australian Electrical Licence. 5 years of experience in industrial automation, including team leadership. Proven experience in Leading and coordinating a team of electricians and tradespeople (senior role). Strong understanding of electrical schematics and project delivery. White Card and NSW Driver’s Licence required. Pneumatic/hydraulic experience, Forklift licence, Certificate IV in Industrial Automation, robotics, and PLC experience.
